Message : I only became a skynard fan recently at the age of 34. Being a Yankee and northern boy, I can't say enough about this great band. My heart goes out to those in that plane crash on that fait filled night. They're all in our memory nearing the anniversary soon to be Oct 20th. I can't imagine how terrifying that must have been for all of you. Keep truckin and God Bless! Sincerely, Devon

I sure hope there are keyboards and pianos where he is now. I guess God has his plans, slowly, the Lynyrd Skynyrd group is getting back together again. I guess that before long, we will all play for the king.
As Hughie said, Green Grass and High Tides Forever, my friends. We will love and miss all of you,
and your music, including the music you never got to play. You are all in a Sweeter Home now.

other members of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band: Leon Wilkinson, Gary Rossington, Rickey Medlocke, and Jeff Mcallister. They were a bunch of cool guys. We sat in the bar at the hotel they were staying
and visited until it was time for them to load up on there tour bus and head to their next destination. I got an autographed picture and got to see their tour bus. That was August 27, 1998. It was so cool.

Message : We have seen Skynyrd about 50 times in the last 15 or so years. We have been known to travel to PA, DE, NJ and VA to see them. One year we saw them three times, in three different states, all in one weekend. True blue Skynyrd fans!!! In the fall of 2003, for our 25th wedding anniversary, we went backstage, met the band and had our pictures taken with them. We were heart broken when Leon died, but we are devastated over the loss of Billy. Skynyrd is comprised of such a great group of people who are genuinely warm, outgoing and friendly, and it is horrible that so much tragedy has fallen on one group. Our thoughts and prayers are with Billy's family and the entire Skynyrd circle of family/friends.

Message : Thanks to everyone for signing our Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Guestbook. We have had page after page of comments on Billy Powell, since his passing. It just goes to show that Billy Powell was well loved. Lynyrd Skynyrd fans are the greatest. Out of over 400 pages (and hundreds of artist)we have on the internet, the Lynyrd Skynyrd pages are the most popular, by far. The tragedies in this band have been unreal. How can a band have so much bad luck? Original members are getting scarce.
As far as the future of the band, we'll have to see what happens. We will continue to add Skynyrd stuff to these pages, so ya'll come back now.
